The Selby & District Riding Club was formed in 1985 and over subsequent years has grown from strength to strength. We now have our own club field at Deighton on the A19 where we hold various competitions throughout the year including dressage, show jumping, showing and working hunter, together with special events for members only.
The riding club was born out of a need for a club on the South side of York and 2011 make this year our 25th anniversary.
We pride ourselves on being a friendly Club and encourage competitors at all levels. Selby & District RC now has over 100 members so far this year.
We support Area Riding Club events and our club teams represent us all over the UK.

Plus, the chance to compete for the riding club at Area and National competitions including hunter trials, horse trials, show jumping, equitation jumping, dressage, pairs dressage, dressage to music, riding tests, rural riders and quadrille.
