Inter-club competitions are always popular and members can get together to share transport and / or travel costs to more distant competitions.

Eldwick Riding Club is affiliated to BHS British Riding Clubs and is located on Heights Lane in Eldwick. The club field offers spectacular views across the Aire Valley and makes the perfect venue for a fun day out to enjoy our equestrian events.

East Yorkshire Riding Club – 01430 423747
East Yorkshire Riding Club is one of 400 Affiliated British Riding clubs located throughout the UK. Regular flatwork and show jumping training sessions are held throughout the year at Willerby Hill Competition Yard and during the summer at Beverley.

Ackworth Riding Club – 07812 700301
The Ackworth Riding Club has been established since 1980 and has been affiliated to the BHS from that date. We are based in Ackworth, West Yorkshire with members from all over the region. We run events throughout the year, Showjumping and Dressage training and qualifying events for Area and National Championships.

Mid Yorkshire Riding Club
The Mid-Yorks is a small, friendly club catering for junior and senior members of all abilities in the Leeds and West Yorkshire area. Hambleton & District Riding Club – 01325 720846
The riding club was started in September 2002 and is affiliated with the B.H.S. Aimed at all levels of riding, whether a "Happy Hacker" or a Top Eventer, the club is based at the Richmond Equestrian Centre. Social Events and Rural Rides are held throughout the year.

British Riding Clubs Area 4 – 01653 696883

York and District Riding Club – 01904 624501
York and District riding club was founded in 1968. We are affiliated to the British Horse Society, and we are in Area 4. We have a club field on Corban Lane, near Wiggington (5 minutes from York ring road). There is a 20 x 40 m rubber surfaced arena and also a rotavated summer surface.

We are a small Riding Club affiliated to Area 4 of the BHS British Riding Clubs. We run regular training sessions, both flatwork and jumping, at Willerby Hill, the local competition yard, and organise informal competitions, outings and social events.

Polo does not have to be a rich person’s sport, and can be played at all levels. To start playing, you need to be enthusiastic! That’s all! Ponies and all specialist equipment are provided. WDSC is a club who prides itself on encouraging novice riders to become competent and have always achieved this through their friendly and relaxed approach. We have a number of Summer Shows which are held at Anston Grange and throughout the winter we hold Indoor Show Jumping at Tickhill Arena, Doncaster which has proved very popular in the past.

The Selby & District Riding Club was formed in 1985 and over subsequent years has grown from strength to strength. We pride ourselves on being a friendly Riding Club and encourage competitors at all levels. Selby & District RC now has over 100 members.
