Over Dalkeith Stables & Livery Yard, Perthshire

Over Dalkeith Stables are a small family riding stables and livery yard in the Southern tip of Perthshire, bordering Fife and Clackmannanshire.

We are a fully licenced and insured riding school offering BHS qualified tuition for all stages and ages. We are also an accredited Pony Club Member Centre.

We believe that our horses and ponies work well for us because we treat them well.

We believe that as herd animals horses and ponies need the freedom of large spaces to graze and benefit from living in large, multi-sex and multi age herds.

We try to partition our horses and ponies as little as possible and that includes any we look after for owners.

This however has to be balanced with what is in the best interests of our animals and so some are stabled over winter with turnout and some spend their nights in our indoor school.

Over Dalkeith Stables is now a Pony Club Member Centre. Our Pony Club activities include Regular non-ridden training nights. In addition we host the Pony Club branch camp at the stables.

Facilities available at Over Dalkeith Stables:

Based in 44 acres of woodland and grazing, the riding facilities include a large (80m x 30m) all weather, floodlight outdoor school and a smaller flloodlight indoor school and local off road hacking.

We are currently putting together a practice cross country course. We have a series of mobile cross-country jumps built by a local business.

Riding Holidays at Over Dalkeith Stables:

If you are on holiday in Kinross-shire or planning to holiday here you may wish to organise a horse ride through the gorgeous countryside around us. Alternatively you could have an afternoon of fun pony games for your children

Over Dalkeith Jacket by Mrs Baker
Dear Katie
I picked up a jacket tonight when I dropped Amy off which I thought was Amy’s replacement jacket after speaking to Molly and when we got home realised it is too big again (it was a size Medium) so I take it it is not Amy’s jacket. I wondered if you happened to have any luck in getting the smaller size navy jacket with velcro and zip as she is desperate to wear it as you can imagine.
If you could give me a call at home or on my mobile to let me know that would be great as we are away on holiday as of Monday till Friday of next week. My home number is 01577 861458 or mobile 07955229255 or my email address is pamela_j_baker@hotmail.co.uk
I thought this was the best way to get in touch with you in case you wondered what had happened to the jacket hanging up.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Regards, Pamela Baker
