The official Horse Show of The British Horse Society, it is now 108 years old and one of the oldest horse shows in the world

The Hickstead All England Jumping Course is located in the heart of Sussex, directly between Gatwick Airport and Brighton.

As one of the biggest equestrian shows in the UK, the Longines Royal International Horse Show uniquely sees the elite of many equestrian disciplines compete side by side.

It has everything from the thrills and spills of international showjumping to the elegance and glamour of champion show horses and ponies, to the exhilarating buzz of the UK’s best scurry ponies and professional event riders galloping cross country courses.

International showjumping classes include the Amlin Plus Eventers’ Challenge; the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup™, presented by Longines, where teams of four riders will be competing to qualify for the series final in Barcelona. the Queen Elizabeth II Cup, one of the most coveted titles in the national showjumping circuit and the Longines King George V Gold Cup, one of the oldest and most prestigious showjumping classes in the world; and the British Showjumping Winter Finals.

Showing classes include a host of prestigious classes for all types and breeds of horse and pony. With the very best show horses and ponies competing for the British Horse Society Supreme Horse and the Underwood Supreme Pony Championships.

Saturday is Ladies’ day at the Longines Royal International Horse Show, and visitors are encouraged to dress to impress, with a host of prizes on offer to the most elegantly attired ladies.
