Our selection of dressage photos featuring dressage riders in local dressage competitions, some equestrian events and a few from the London Olympics
It can be very difficult to capture an interesting dressage photo, there’s very little action and most photos show the horse or rider in an awkward pose that’s part way through a movement.
Getting that pretty dressage photo that shows the horse and rider in the best light takes practice and a lot of clicking.
As dressage riders we are particularly picky when it comes to our own dressage photos, but we do like to include as many riders as possible because we understand the amount of work and effort that goes into dressage.
So, not all of our dressage riders or horses may look the best they could, but they are trying hard to. It’s just our lack of skill and bad timing that prevents us taking the best dressage photos of you and your horse.
And as with our show jumping and cross country photos, one of our biggest problems is keeping track of which rider or horse is in the photo, so rather than get it wrong we’ll just leave it to you to see if you recognise anyone.
