Swedish Stallion Briar, known simply as Bjorsells Briar, is a chestnut SWB stallion foaled in 1991 by Magini.
Briar’s Breeder and owner is Hans-Yngve Gransson. The video shows Jan Brink riding Bjorsells Briar at the Goteborg Horse Show in 2009.
Currently classed the No.1 Dressage Stallion in the world on the BCM ranking list.
Top Dressage Horse Briar is fully approved in the German Hanoverian and Oldenburg Verbande as well as in Holland, Belgium, England, USA and Australia.
Bjorsells Briar achieved a superior win at Aachen over Salinero in 2005. With some judges giving him the highest marks ever for a Kur – 88%.
Briar danced with Jan Brink to his first Silver medal at the European Championships at Hickstead with only Ulla Salzgeber and Rusty above him, the only two riders to score over 80 %.
Top Dressage Horse Bjorsells Briar and Jan Brink also took the Bronze in the open individual Championships and he won the Swedish Championships for the 5th year in a row and was placed 6th in Athens 2004.
