AMAZING! by: Ellie
I have been going to calder Farm stables for around 2 years so far, and since then they have given me support and have taught me so much. I am really grateful for what they have done for me. I enjoy doing horse ridng so much and i hope to carry it on in future!
Lovely farm for you and us all by: Anonymous
I would recommend you go there and check it out. It specialises in cobs mostly. As you’re going down calder road just before the children’s primary school there’s this little road with pheasants running around it’s gorgeous. You should start riding there. The horses are gorgeous too and I’m a new comer at the riding school.
At least have one ride there. She does private lessons for those that want them. The private lessons are £15.00 and group lessons are £12.00. Group lessons are only up to 4 people.

I have a question :
At calder farm stables, can you loan their horses ??
Correct instruction and safety by: Gemma
Jackie is a lovely lady who puts the well being of her horses and safety of clients first. All riders are grouped with others of the same abilty and the tuition is of a high standard and riders are being taught correctly.
I have known some riding schools to overlook riders bad habits and mistakes and made to do things they are not comfortable with but here the riders are positively corrected and helped to gain technique and confidence at their own pace.
The horses and ponies are very well cared for and this shows in the work they do.
When my daughter reaches 4 years old I won’t hesitate to get her booked in. Riding schools like this are very hard to find!!
Safe and professional by: Sarah
When I began riding as a nervous adult, I was instantly put at ease when I realised Jackie had the riders safety as a priority.
We all had to wear body protectors, the horses were very well behaved and the instructors were always focused on the riders, unlike some other schools I have been to where they have been on their mobile phones!
I learnt to ride here and still remain good friends with Jackie and the other members of staff. I will continue to improve my riding at calder farm.
