Equine Clinic, Rathmell
This well established equine practice comprises a team of five vets with a dedicated interest in equine work. We cover an area extending from South Cumbria, North Yorkshire and into North and East Lancashire. The practice has BEVA approved premises for equine artificial insemination and equine treatment facilities at End House Stud in Gisburn. Dalehead's dedicated equine clinic at Rathmell (at the Equine Therapy Centre) contains a fully equipped operating theatre with a modern, safe Anaesthetic system based on gas maintenance enabling long procedures to be carried out at minimal risk. Adjacent to the operating theatre is a padded induction./recovery room. The facility is also equipped with an x-ray unit and dedicated examination and treatment room with stocks.
