The Fal Pro Classic

I first bought my Fal Pro Classic turnout rug in 1996 for my 16hh Danish Warmblood. After I lost him the Fal passed on to my 15.3hh Arab mare who wore it through many winters.

When my Arab mare was kicked, broke her leg and I lost her the Fal Pro passed first to my 3yr old Warmblood mare who spent one winter in it before outgrowing it, she's now 16.3hh.

The Fal is now used by my 15.3hh thoroughbred mare who spent her first winter in it last year and who has just been clipped and has started wearing it again this year.

I probably own and use around ten turnout rugs, which have been bought and used through many Autumn's and Winters with many needing repairs to straps and surcingles or re-proofing, but the Fal Pro rug has never needed anything.

It still feels good, it still keeps my horses dry and it's still the first rug I reach for when the weather turns.

If Fal Pro rugs were just that little bit less expensive, I'd never look at any other make.
