TTRG - Texas Trail Riding Group

The Texas Trail Riding Group is an equestrian group that loves riding in the National Forest (Sam Houston, Davey Crockett etc.,), River Systems, Prarie, Hill Country, Desert and Beaches.

Our group was started on April 8, 2006 for people who like to ride in the Sam Houston National Forest, the Texas Forestry System and Texas River system.

We found that our riding areas were decreasing around the Houston Area and the small Cities that we love so well.

So a few of us that knew parts of the Sam Houston National Forest really well and others that know the River areas, combined our efforts and extended our trail and water riding ranges along with a healthy dose of "formal" trail rides

We are fortunate in Texas to have it all right at our finger tips and all trails are welcome that have good public access.

We are an active group of riders and you are welcome to join us at any ride. Different members know different trails and then there are those who just like to do the benefit or formal rides. Some folks just like to participate in the group discussions and that is an acceptable form of participation as well.
