Newlands May 2007 - Newlands Equestrian Livery Owners Fun Day

Newlands is a family owned livery yard just outside Epworth in Lincolnshire. We hold quarterly shows for our livery yard clients and their friends. Then we show the good, the bad and the ugly to the world.

Newlands equestrian fun day - gary on sky Its newlands livery yard may 2007 and as a great big thank you for all the livery owners custom, Andrew and Jane hosted a livery owners fun day.

The fun day included something for everyone and provided everyone with a reason to enter something. From tack and turnout to best condition, handy horse, pony or (as it worked out) handy dog; to showjumping for beginners and the more experienced. The day ending with an excellent BBQ where Andrew was able to demonstrate his superb culinary skills, even (under protest) catering to the vegetarian contingent.

With none of the usual competition pressure and everything kept light-hearted; but with some excellent rosettes and trophies up for grabs; together with a fully qualified and professional judge enlisted by Jane; everyone entered into the true spirit of the fun day theme.

It was obvious that Andrew and Jane had put tremendous effort into organising the whole day and everyone, all the liveries, their friends and guests would like to extend their sincere appreciation for that effort. A great big well deserved THANK-YOU to the both of you.
