Magnolia Oaks Farm provides horseback riding lessons, training, and boarding. Magnolia Oaks Farm is located in Shelby County, Alabama, south of Birmingham, close to Montevallo, Calera, and Alabaster. Lessons are taught by a CHA-certified riding instructor.

Our emphasis is on horsemanship and building solid equestrian fundamentals. In addition to riding skills, every student is taught horse care, how to handle a horse properly -from groundwork, to safety skills and the basics of equine psychology.

We have school horses to suit beginners and for the advanced rider too. We use quarter horses.

We have significant competitive experience in shows sanctioned by the Palomino Horse Breeders of America (PHBA).

The Alabama Open Horseman Association provides an excellent competitive experience in its own right as well. If competition is part of what you desire in your equestrian experience, we can definitely help you achieve your aim.
