Based in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside Heighington & District Riding club is a small, friendly and enthusiastic group of people who are dedicated to their horses. We cater for all standards of rider from novice to advanced, non riding to those few who just have to put up with our love of horses. We actively welcome new members and pride ourselves on being at the grass roots of equestrianism. We run a mixture of activities that include regular rallies, more specialist training, social events, summer camp and pleasure / fun rides, together with our annual shows.

Don't feel overwhelmed at trying a new sport, remember that it's just a fun day out - a hack with a few extra bits. The competition involves the skills and hazards you might encounter out hacking, including map reading, mounting and dismounting, going through water, under low hanging trees, opening gates, crossing bridges and jumping over fallen logs. The winner is determined by points gained over the three phases of the competition.
