Essex Horse Retirement is a beautiful horse retirement set in 200 acres of paradise where your equine friend can spend their days and nights grazing, roaming and playing - the large fields are bordered mainly with hedges and woodland, providing natural shelter together with a safe and peaceful enviroment.

East Anglian Carriage Driving Group
For Carriage Driving enthusiasts in the East Anglia Region. We organise and run training for horse and pony drivers, competitions, including driven dressage, cones driving, and cross country with National standard obstacles. We aim to be friendly and helpful and try to encourage novice drivers as well as developing skills to take members up to national and even international driving competitions. The Horse Support Service
The Horse Support Service provides schooling and backing Livery - Braintree Problem horses also taken. We work with horses all over the UK from novice to intenational level for jumping and dressage. Freelance lessons given.

The Essex Foxhounds and Essex Hunt
The Essex hunt was established in 1785 by Messrs J & D Rounding, who were Masters, until their retirement in 1805. It is reported that hunting was carried out in the district almost a century earlier by a pack which was bought down from the Essex and Norfolk country. The Essex Hunt Club was founded at a meeting of subscribers and supporters of the Essex hunt on March 11th 1882. The meeting was held at the Cock Hotel, Epping.
